Two-day medical camp organized by J&K Bank, Medanta concludes <i>5000 patients given free medical consultations</i>
A two-day free medical check-up camp organised together by J&K Bank and MEDANTA, The Medicity, a Gurgoan based multi-specialty hospital concluded today at University of Jammu.
Around 5000 patients from across Jammu, particularly from rural areas benefited from this camp.
On the second day of the camp, a large number of patients visited for free consultations.
While expressing his satisfaction over smooth conduct and success of the camp, R.K Gupta, Director J&K Bank said, "On behalf of J&K Bank I thank Dr Trehan and his team, doctors who volunteered for managing OPD, Para-medical staff and other volunteers for making this camp a grand success."
Taking a lead from success of this event, we hope to conduct more such camps in future, he further added.
Conducting such camps is a blessing for under-privileged people like me, said a senior citizen during the camp.
The Bank's President, O P Sharma expressed his satisfaction over smooth conduct of this camp. He said, "As a responsible corporate citizen of the state, J&K bank has always remained at the forefront in bringing comfort to the people."
He thanked all the people associated with smooth and successful conduct of the camp.
