J&K Bank RSETI Budgam concluded a 3-week training program, on ‘Dress Designing and Tailoring', in which candidates belonging to BPL families of the district participated. The programme was conducted in collaboration with District Social Welfare Department Budgam and was sponsored by DRDA, Budgam.
Participation Certificates were distributed among the trainees at a valedictory function held at the institute. Director RSETI Tariq Ali appreciated the trainees for their keen interest during the programme.
He said, "We are sure that the skills acquired by the participants during the training period would help them to set up their own ventures and that they would become successful entrepreneurs."
He informed the participants that the institute would be always there to counsel them and guide their resolve till they establish their units.
The RSETI has already come out with the calendar of trainings for the current year and about 750 youth of the district are scheduled to be trained during the current financial year.
The technical support provided by District Social Welfare Department was widely appreciated at the valedictory session.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks by the Director.
