J&K Bank Thursday inaugurated ATM at Sunderbani on Rajouri-Poonch National Highway amid large public gathering. Mr. R K Chhibber Vice President & Zonal Head Jammu (West) inaugurated the ATM, which is 2nd such machine in Sunderbani Town, in presence of the Lead District Manager Rajouri and Head B/U Sunderbani.
Mr. Chhibber briefed the public about various products of the bank besides a number of initiatives taken up by the bank to ensure that benefits of technology driven banking services reaches to people across the state thereby improving customer service.
He said that the public at large and the Bank's Clientele in particular shall be hugely benefited due to the ideal location of the ATM.
He also informed the gathering that new B/U's will shortly be opened at Budhal, Khwas, Manjakote and Bhamla. All these new branches, he said, shall be equipped with ATM & other state-of-the-art technology and will provide Core Banking Solutions to its clients.
Mr. Chhibber appealed to the educated youth to avail the benefits of various employment generating programs particularly government sponsored schemes like Sheri Kashmir employment and welfare program for educated youth (SKEWPY).
Some suggestions also came up during the interaction which were received warmly by the Zonal Head. Those present on the occasion thanked the Bank for the services and expressed deep gratitude for the Bank's large recruitment initiative providing employment to more than 1500 educated and energetic youth of the state. Mr. B.K Sharma, Head B/U Sunderbani concluded the function by thanking the participants and requested them to avail all the banking services and facilities provided by the bank.
With the opening of this ATM, the total number of ATM's in the Zone has gone up to 18 and it is 11th ATM in Rajouri District.
