RSETI Kupwara begins skill development programme in knitting
J&K Bank RSETI Kupwara Tuesday commenced a ten-day long ‘Skill Development Programme on Knitting' where in 30 participants shall receive trainings. Sponsored by DRDA Kupwara the trainees are from three Self-help Groups belonging to Block Wavoora, Kupwara.
Cluster Head, Kupwara Mohammad Younis Pattoo inaugurated the programme in presence of DRDA officials and other guests.
He impressed upon the trainees that they should take the trainings seriously to enhance their skills.
"Our focus is to have productive youth force. So these training programmes are tailored to enable youth to earn for themselves and provide employment to others, "he added.
Director RSETI Mohammad Afzal Shah assured the participants of every possible help in providing them credit-linkage with banks so that their ventures are properly financed to generate both profit and employment.
During the training programme the participants shall have interactive sessions with bankers, representatives of sponsoring agencies and officials from the concerned government departments.
