J&K Bank, one of the fastest growing private sector banks and premier institution of the J&K State, under the auspices of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) today conducted written test across the state for filling up the posts in Banking Associates cadre (Cash Management). The advertisement was issued by the bank in October 2010 and over 75000 applications were received across the state.
The written test was conducted by the Institute at 191 examination centers set up at Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh (Leh) regions. The bank had established scores of controlling rooms to ensure the test is held smoothly and fairly. It is notable that today's test was one of the biggest recruitment shows in the state.
Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was himself monitoring the conduct of the examination and visited several examination centres. He expressed his satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the examination. It is worth mentioning that special teams were constituted by the bank headed by top executives who made surprise visits to the examination centres across the state.
Mushtaq Ahmed while expressing his satisfaction over the smooth conduct of examination said, "I am thankful to all educational institutions and their staff and state police for extending whole hearted support to us in smooth conduct of the test."
He also hailed the bank staff for extraordinary efforts in ensuring the successful conclusion of this huge challenging exercise. The chairman also thanked IBPS and its observers for their support.
Notably, the candidates appreciated the bank for making extraordinary arrangements at the test venues, which made them comfortable during their stay inside the examination halls.
