To review the performance of banks and government departments under various schemes, J&K Bank conducted the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) cum District Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting of District Bandipora for June and September quarters of FY 2021-22 at DC Office Bandipora.

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Dr. Owais Ahmad (IAS) chaired the meeting attended by Lead District Manager Bandipora Abdul Rashid Malik, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad and district coordinators of all the banks, government departments and other development agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, Lead District Manager Bandipora Abdul Rashid Malik informed the house that all banks operating in the district have extended credit aggregating to an amount of Rs 187.17 Cr under Priority Sector and Rs.126.98 Cr under Non- Priority sector aggregating to total credit of Rs 314.15 Cr against the yearly target of RS 887.13 Cr thereby registering an achievement of 24% in Priority sector, 116% in Non-Priority sector showing an achievement of 35% in total Annual Credit Plan up to 30th of September, 2021.

Notably, J&K Bank alone has disbursed Rs 128.38 Cr under priority sector and Rs 116.89 Cr under Non priority sector aggregating to total credit of Rs 245.27 Cr against the yearly target of Rs 444.23 Cr showing an achievement of 55%.

While reviewing the performance of banks and government departments under various Schemes, the Chairman DLRC directed the participants to expedite disposal of government sponsored cases.
