J&K Bank's currency note exchange facility on Christmas
On the eve of Christmas, J&K Bank provided currency note exchange facility to the general public in Jammu in which fresh currency notes of Rs.5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 denominations were exchanged against the old currency notes. Even availability of coins of Rs.5 and 10 denominations were also provided through these counters.
The Bank through its zonal office, Jammu (Central) had established two mobile cash counters at Church at Last Morh, Gandhi Nagar and Church at Residency Road through BU Town hall. These places experience huge footfall during the Christmas festival in Jammu.

Meanwhile, under its ‘clean currency, clean commerce' initiative to make J&K state a clean currency state, J&K Bank has once again exhorted general public not to accept soiled or non-issuable notes from any of its branches.
