J&K Bank to work full day on Saturday
All the branches of J&K Bank in the state of Jammu & Kashmir shall remain open for full day and observe business hours from 10 am to 4pm on Saturday, 27th of August 2011 for the convenience of general public. The extension in working hours is aimed at providing extended services to esteemed customers on the eve of ensuing Eid-Ul-Fitr.
Notably, as per the government order no. 983-GAD of 2011 dated 25th August, the holiday on account of Shab-i-Qadir shall now be observed on 28th August 2011 (Sunday) instead of 27th August 2011 (Saturday).
