J&K Bank serves refreshment to devotees at Mela Khirbhawani

Reflecting its connect with the cultural, religious and social ethos of the people of the state, J&K Bank today established a courtesy camp for serving refreshment and providing fresh currency note exchange facilities to the devotees on the eve of Mela Khirbhawani at the famous Mata Khirbhawani shrine in Tulmulla area of Ganderbal.


 Bank officials headed by Shafat Maqbool Kitab, Bank’s Cluster head for Ganderbal, served drinking water, juice and cold drinks to the devotees who had turned up in thousands to pay obesience at the shrine. Separate counters for providing fresh currency notes and coins were also set up for the benefit and convenience of devotees and general public.


In addition to the Onsite ATM, a Mobile ATM facility has been kept available at the site since 5th June and will continue to be at the disposal of pilgrims’ upto 7th June.


Pertinently, Reserve Bank of India through its Sringar office, headed by Mr. Ravinder Koul, Assistant General Manager, conducted a Financial Literacy camp alongside the camp of J&K Bank.
