J&K Bank RSETI Kulgam concludes 7-day Training Programme
The week-long Skill Development Training Programme for women in Kashmir Handicrafts (Crewel & Chain Stitch) and conducted by J&K Bank RSETI, Kulgam, concluded today.
Sponsored by DRDA, forty women candidates belonging to various villages of the district participated in the training programme. Project Officer, DRDA, Kulgam Dr.Akram-ullahTak gave Certificate of Participation to all the women participants.
Speaking on the occasion Project Officer appreciated the role of J&K Bank RSETI Kulgam for conducting such training programmes and suggested that the Institute should organise awareness camps in the far flying areas of the district for unemployed youth so that they too can participate in such desirable programmes.
Director RSETI, Kulgam Mohammad ShafiAyaz said that the skill development training for another batch of women would commence from 26th of this month.
He further said that the Institute had prepared a calendar of activities for the upcoming financial years wherein 24 such training programmes were proposed to be conducted in which about 1000 unemployed youth would be imparted skill development and entrepreneurship development training.
He thanked the District Administration of Kulgam especially District Development Commissioner Farooq Ahmad Khan, Additional Distt. Development Commissioner M Y Zargar and Project Officer DRDA Dr. A U Tak for their valuable guidance and assistance for conducting these programmes smoothly.
