J&K Bank today organized awareness camps at village Trichal in Pulwama and Munand Guffan in Kulgam, which were attended by a large number of apple growers, senior citizens and local residents.
Speaking at Trichal Zonal Coordinator (South), Rashid-ud-din stressed upon the need to empower growers financially and technologically to enhance the quality and the yield of apples in order to bring it closer to international standards. .
He assured them of necessary financial support for achieving the desired objectives. .
He also responded to the queries raised by the growers about the Apple Project and impressed upon them to avail benefits of the scheme for better yields and better earnings. .
Head Business Unit Pulwama, Manzoor Ahmad Attar spoke about the scheme of subvention available to the growers as per terms of the revised Kissan Credit Card. .
The Bank provides hassle free loans under the scheme and the cases are processed within 7 days only, he said. Meanwhile at Munand Guffan, Kulgam Facilitator FLCC Kulgam A R Hakim spoke about importance and objectives of ‘Financial Inclusion' besides services available with the banks. .
He informed the people about various financial products like Apple Advance Scheme, Kissan Credit Card, Giri Finance, Dastakar Finance and other business loans. Deposit products too were talked about in detail. .
Lead District Manager G M Dar further highlighted the importance of opening and maintaining of accounts with the Banks. .
Queries regarding different schemes were responded to the satisfaction of the audience. .
Sarpanch, Panches present on the occasion hailed the Bank for organizing the awareness camp.
