J&K Bank organises customer meets in Poonch, Udhampur
J&K Bank today organized customer meets at its Business Units Mendhar and Tikri in Poonch and Udhampur districts respectively.
The meeting at Mendhar was attended by a large gathering representing different sections of society like businessmen, social activists, government employees, members of the Chamber and senior citizens. Cluster Head PoonchGhulamJeelani Shah presided over the meet.
During interaction with the customers, he gave a detailed account of the tailor-made schemes of the Bank suitable for all sections of the society.
He urged the local educated youth to avail the benefits of various government sponsored schemes especially SK Employment and Welfare Scheme for Youth (SKEWPY).
He assured the trading community of total support from the Bank in their financial needs. Customers appreciated the service of the all the staff members posted at the B.U.
The customers demanded installation of one more ATM near Post office Mendhar- Jammu Road to deal with the rush at the on-site ATM.
The participants made certain suggestions and demands which were taken note of by the Bank officers and the participants were assured of positive response from the Bank authorities.
Head B.U Poonch Kamal Gupta thanked the participants for their valuable suggestions and promised best services to them.
The customer meet at B.U Tikri was chaired by the Cluster Head S Iqbal Singh.
The meeting was attended by a large number of customers along with Manish Puri (Sales Manger-Metlife), Head B.U Tikri and other Bank officers.
The purpose of the meeting was to interact with the customers and to educate them about the different products including insurance floated by the bank in collaboration with MetLife.
On the occasion Cluster Head delivered a cheque of Rs 5.00 Lacs to the legal heir of Late Mrs. Indira Devi, one of the customers, who was insured with MetLife through B.U – Tikri.
The participants hailed the settlement of insurance claim by the bank in record time.

Cluster Head explained the benefits of Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) to the participants and requested the local sarpanches to educate the farmers of their respective villages about KCCs.
