J&K Bank today dedicated one more Business Unit (BU) to people in district Ganderbal at Power House Road.

Zonal Head Kashmir Central (II) Tasaduq Ahmad Dar inaugurated the business unit and a new premises for Cluster (II) Ganderbal in presence of Cluster Head Shafat Maqbool Kitab, Heads of business units in the district, local businessmen, traders, senior citizens and local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, “J&K Bank remains committed to make meaningful interventions in the society thereby paving way for people’s financial empowerment including those from its marginalized segments.”

He urged the people to avail bank’s products and services which have been tailored to meet their financial needs.

Those present on the occasion expressed gratitude towards the management for opening state-of-the-art business unit in their area.

Meanwhile, the bank’s R S Pura business unit in Jammu organized a mega   financial literacy camp at village Rangpur Mullanian wherein a large number of people including representatives of agriculture department participated.

The bank officials educated the people about various schemes i.e. PMJDY, PMJJY, PMSBY, PMMY, Atal Pension Yojna and Laadli Beti scheme (launched by state Govt for girl child).
