J&K Bank today commissioned a new Business Unit at Habak here amid a good gathering comprising of valuable customers, senior citizens, traders and local residents.

The bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (Central I), Abdul Rashid Sheigan inaugurated the spacious state-of-the-art premises in presence of Cluster Head II Altaf Mehboob Ghani in a simple but impressive function.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head urged the participants to avail the world calss banking facilities besides the financial products tailored to meet all their personal and business requirements.

The participants thanked the bank for providing services at their doorstep thereby fulfilling the long pending demand of the area in general and the customers in particular.

Meanwhile, the bank’s business unit at Sainik School Manasbal organised a fincial literacy camp in collaboration with FLCC Ganderbal at campus of the school wherein Principal Sainik School Sheikh Gayasudin, AGM RBI Ashok Angrall, LBO Ganderbal Faizullah Quraishi, Facilitator FLCC Riyaz Ahmad Kawoosa and Head business unit Manasbal participated.

The schemes of the bank especially those related to the student community like education loan and student saving accounts were discussed in detail especially. AGM RBI spoke apprised the participants about the schemes for pursuing higher education. The students showed keen interest and posed various questions to the speakers which were replied promptly.

Principal of the school thanked the bank for such an educative event and requested for more such camps in the school in future.
