With a view to enable people of rural areas avail the banking and other financial services conveniently and completely, J&K Bank today opened its 590th Business Unit at Arizal (Budgam).
Zonal Head, Central Kashmir, Abdul Hamid Banday inaugurated the Unit amid a huge gathering of people.
Equipped with latest technology and modern Banking facilities like core banking, anywhere banking etc., the branch shall cater to the financial needs of a large un-banked area.
Thanking the people for their unwavering support, Zonal head said that the Bank was keen to extend banking facilities to every corner and individual of the state.
He said, "The bank has already tailored customized schemes according to the requirements of people like Agri-term Loan, Apple Advance Scheme, Giri-finance, Saffron finance, Trade finance, Transport finance, Education loan, Housing loan, Car finance etc. These are some of the products fully designed to reshape economic fortunes of people."
