J&K Bank launches Scooty Finance for girl students & working ladies
With increasing number of young women opting for trendy scooterette models, J&K Bank today launched a specialized product for girl students and working ladies to help and encourage them get the scooterette of their choice.
Abdul Majid Mir, Bank's Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) launched the product - J&K Bank Scooty Finance - at a function here at Bank's Corporate Headquarters today. The Bank's President and Chief Strategist Tafazal Hussain, President & Secretary, Parvez Ahmad, President Ab Rashid, Vice Presidents, Fazal Mehboob Gani & Abdul Rouf and Pvt secretary to Chairman, Shujaat Andrabi were also present on the occasion.
"For a bank that seeks consistent and comprehensive growth like ours, the micro picture of economic segmentation is as important as the macro view. And the entire product bouquet has to be structured according to the income, needs, tastes and preferences of the varied sections of people including women", said Abdul Majid Mir while speaking on the occasion.
"That is why in our process of productisation, we shall continue to develop specific offerings like the Scooty Finance to gratify the preferences of important segment of our customers", Mir added.
He further said that banks being commercial organizations tend to have their focus on commerce and business. "However, at J&K Bank, customer convenience always attracts our attention in equal measure while developing products", he emphasized.
Primarily designed to suit girl students and working ladies, Scooty Finance is a hassle-free product that offers 85% of the cost of finance subject to a maximum finance of Rs.50000/-. The loan is to be repaid in 60 monthly installments.
Moreover, simplified documentation coupled with flexible repayment option makes this product an apt response to meet the growing desire and interest among youngsters, especially girls, to ride off the slim and stylish scooties.
