J&K Bank inaugurated new premises of Business Unit Trespone in Kargil amid large public gathering.
Zonal Head-Leh Ladakh Mohammad Younis Pattoo inaugurated the premises in presence of Cluster Head Kargil Tasaduq Ahmad and Councilor LADHC Jenab Syed Mujtaba, who was the Guest of Honour on the occassion.
A customer meet was held at the B.U soon after the inaugural ceremony.
Speaking on the occassion, Zonal Head impressed upon the public to avail benefits of various schemes including KCC and DRI besides government sponsored schemes like SKEWPY which offer as much as 35% subsidy.
Councilor Syed Mujtaba appreciated Bank authorities for building state-of-the-art premises for Trespone B.U.
Presenting paying vote of thanks to the public for their belongingness and participation Cluster Head said that hassle free credit will be ensured for establishment of every viable and gainful enterprise.
Meanwhile, the Bank yesterday organized Kissan Credit Card Mela at Pancheri in Udhampur.
Vice-President & Zonal Head Jammu (North) M I Wani welcomed the participants and detailed the achievements of Bank.
He said that the Bank was making continuous efforts to provide easy & hassle-free credit facilities to the farming community in the state and had already issued 30000 cards amounting to Rs 15 Crore in Jammu North Zone.
Cluster Head Udhampur-Ramban Iqbal Singh highlighted the features of the scheme and initiatives taken by Bank for eradication of unemployment & upliftment of economically backward sections in the area.
He further stated that such more camps will be organized in other blocks of the district at regular intervals so as to make people aware of this scheme.
On the occasion, hundreds of KCC cards were distributed amongst beneficiaries on spot by the Zonal Head.
