J&K Bank inaugurates ATM in Udhampur, concludes trainings at Baramulla
J&K Bank commissioned an ATM at Manwal in Udhampur amid a good gathering of valuable customers, growers and other local residents. District Development Commissioner (DDC) Udhampur Pandurang K Pole (IAS) inaugurated the ATM, which is 11th in the district, in presence of Bank's Vice President & Zonal Head Jammu (North) M I Wani and Cluster Head Udhampur Iqbal Singh.
Kissan Credit Cards were also distributed among the beneficiaries of B.U Manwal, Majalta & Khoon.
Speaking on the occasion Zonal Head said that J&K Bank would continue to extend best services to its customers. The installation of ATM at Manwal will benefit the locals besides commuters using Dhar Road.
He also highlighted the benefits of Kissan Credit Card and of other schemes of the Bank.
In his address DDC Udhampur lauded the efforts of the Bank in financial growth of the people. He impressed upon the people to strive to make Manwal trade center again by availing various products, government sponsored schemes and facilities offered by the Bank.
DDC Udhampur distributed scores of Kissan Credit Cards on the occasion. Cluster Head informed the gathering that 10424 KCC cards amounting to 555 Lacs have been sanctioned in the district.
He concluded the function with vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, RSETI Baramulla concluded its training programme on ‘Entrepreneurship Development', which was attended by 40 candidates.
The Bank's President Nayeemullah was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
"All the candidates can report at their nearest J&K Bank B.U for getting hassle free loan so as to establish their own income generating units like dairy, poultry, sheep farms or any other activity of their interest and choice", he said while awarding certificates to the 10th batch of trainees at institute office Sopore.
Institute Director Riaz Ahmad Mir said, "Out of the 367 candidates trained at this institute, 91% have established their units and 67% of these have availed finance from the banks.
