J&K Bank Friday pressed one more ATM into public service at Zirpora, Bijbehara in south Kashmir taking the total number of JK Bank ATMs to 300.
J&K Bank Zonal Head (South Kashmir) Bashir Ahmad Lone inaugurated the automated machine.
Addressing an impressive gathering of valuable customers and senior citizens, Bashir Ahmad Lone said, "With the installation of ATM in Zirpora, the bank has met the long-held demand of people of this area. Now is the time to deepen our business engagements so that more financial and banking services are extended to these areas of south Kashmir". Urging the people of area to avail schemes of the bank and other facilities, he said, "All sites belonging to the bank are basically public assets meant to empower people financially".
Present on the occasion, Cluster Heads (South) Ghulam Mohammad and M.H.Gotoo made a detailed presentation of various products and schemes of the bank.
People hailed role of the bank in extending high-tech facilities besides other banking and financial services to these areas.
