J&K Bank holds Artisan Credit Card mela at Bemina
Committed to promotion and protection of golden hands, J&K Bank distributed 136 Artisan Credit Cards (ACCs) at a simple but impressive function held at its Business Unit, Bemina here today.
Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Abdul Baseer, was chief guest on the occasion. He distributed the cards among the beneficiaries in presence of J&K Bank Cluster Head (II), Altaf Mehboob Gani, J&K Bank Zonal Coordinator, Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Ghulam Sarwar and the Branch Head of B/U Bemina, Sheikh Zaffar Iqbal. A large number of artisans were also present on the occasion.
The Assistant Director, Handicrafts gave details about the subsidy component of the scheme and praised the bank for extending the benefits of the scheme in a hassle free manner to the artisans. J&K Bank cluster head described the role of J&K Bank in extending loan facility to the artisans through ACC.
Notably, loan to the tune of Rs.1.36 Cr has been sanctioned in favour of the artisans thorugh these 136 Artisan Credit Cards.
