Committed to the wellbeing of employees and their families, J&K Bank today gave the insurance payouts to the families of its three deceased employees. The bank’s President (HRD) Mohammad Maqbool Lone handed over the cheques to the spouses of the deceased in presence of the Vice President HRD Nissar Ahmad Zargar and other officers of the bank.

Speaking on the occasion, the President HRD said, “As the flagship company of J&K, we have always taken care of our valuable human resource, whose loyalty and perseverance continues to remain exemplary in 81st year of the illustrious journey. And in line with our organizational values of care and kinship, the bank comprehensively covers all its employees’ under Term Life and Accidental Insurance policies.”

“Although we understand it fully well that nothing in this world can substitute the irreparable loss of any bereaved family, but the purpose is to extend a decent protection to employee’s family so that they remain insulated against any financial or social anxiety in the unfortunate event of his/her death.”, the President added.

The insurance claims of Jameel Ahmad Baba (Executive), Gulzar Ahmad Palla (Banking Attendant) and Bashir Ahmad Shah (Armed Guard) were settled by PNB MetLife under Group Term Life Insurance.
