J&K Bank Football Academy Jammu beat PDC "B" 3-0
J&K Bank Football Academy (Jammu) entered into pre-quarter final round of 2nd Rajiv Gandhi Gold Cup Football Tournament when they beat PDC "B" 3-0 at GGM Science College, Jammu.
Both the teams were unable to score in the first half. In the 42nd minute of the second half, the budding striker of the bank, Aiman Rashid, scored first goal. It was another bank striker, Adnan, who is 16years old, who netted the second goal in 53rdminute.Aiman Rashid scored his second and third of the match in 65thmin.
It is worth mentioning that J&K Bank after launching talent hunt programme shortlisted young footballers in Jammu and Kashmir divisions to groom them for higher level of football.The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association has already registered these groups.
It was the first match of theJammu group of budding footballers being groomed by the bank.
Meanwhile, PDC team is currently coached/ trained by the former Bank Coach AbdulMajeed Kukroo who joined the PDC department some months back after beingsacked by the Bank from its Football Club.
