J&K Bank farewells its 8 senior officers
J&K Bank gave a warm send off to its 8 officers including two Presidents, Abdul Rashid and M Afzal Khan, who attained superannuation today.
Others who retired from the services are Senior Executive Managers (SEM) Abdul Hamid Ahangar, Bashir Ahmad Sidiqui, Mehraj-Ud-Din Kababi, Executive Managers (EM) Vijay Kumar kokiloo, Abdul Qayoom and Senior Executive Chaman Lal Khosa.
A farewell party presided over by the Chairman & CEO Mushtaq Ahmad was arranged on the occasion which was attended by Executive Presidents (EP) Tafazal Hussain, Parvez Ahmad and Sahibzada Ghulam Mohi-u-din, Presidents, Vice-presidents and other senior officers.
Bidding them farewell, Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad hailed their contributions towards the institution and wished them and their families well for their times ahead.
Reflecting on his 39-year tenure, Abdul Rashid said, "J&K Bank is the reason I have become the person I am today. I thank all of you for making it possible for me to contribute to this great organization, in as much measure, as I could."
To his younger colleagues he said, "Challenges have assumed exponential proportions; so have opportunities. However I firmly believe that you will enrich the great legacy and scale even greater summits."
Speaking on the occasion, M Afzal Khan thanked his colleagues at the Bank for their affection and co-operation that he enjoyed through-out his service period of around 40 years.
He said, "In a way I owe my socio-economic personality to this great institution that has always added value and dignity to my contributions towards it. Today I feel proud and happy to have been part of this evolving story of success and achievement."
