J&K Bank donates laptop to disabled student
Following its CSR policy to empower deserving people to realize their potential completely, J&K Bank today donated a Laptop to Physically challenged Mohammad Sultan Rather S/O Assadullah Rather of Wussan, Tangmarg.
J&K Bank President Mr. Rauf Ahmad Bhat gave the Laptop to Mohammad Sultan here at Corporate Headquarters.
Speaking on the issue, he said, "We have accorded top priority to health and education in our CSR policy. And this boy's struggle in spite of such disability is exemplary and needs appreciation and help from an institution whose core value is to empower people."
Rather is a victim of a congenital Grebe syndrome and doesn't have upper limbs. Without taking refuge in his disability, he has courageously pursued studies and is doing Post-graduation in Education.
