J&K Bank convenes DLRC Meet
J&K Bank convened a District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting in Ganderbal which was chaired by the Additional District Development commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal Mohammad Ashraf Shonthu.
The meeting was attended by CPO Mukhtar Ahmad Bazaz, R L Kotor (RBI), all district officers/line departments and coordinators of all banks operating in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DLRC stressed upon all the banks to work sincerely for the achievement of required targets.
He urged the government agencies particularly Block Development Officers (BDO) of the entire district to make farmers aware about the benefits that accrue from availing the credit facilities under different schemes especially Kissan Credit Card Scheme.
The House approved the credit plan of Rs 232.50 Corers for the Financial Year 2012-13 with Rs 122.50 corers for priority sector and Rs110.00Crores for non-priority sector which included Rs 25.71 corers for government sponsored schemes.
Earlier, welcoming the participants the Lead District Manager (LDM) Masood Ahmad Khan briefed the house about achievements of the banks (for quarter ending December 2011) operating in the district under District Credit Plan2011-12.
The banks, he said, have achieved target of 64 percent by disbursing an amount of Rs 64.99 Corers for 3702 units under priority sector while as in government sponsored schemes the banks have disbursed an amount of Rs 8.56 Crores to 727 beneficiaries in the district.
CPO Mukhtar Ahmad Bazaz concluded the meeting by presenting vote of thanks.
