J&K Bank convenes 41st DLRC meet in Budgam
J&K Bank convened the 41st District Level Review Committee (DLRC) Meeting in Budgam under the Chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner Khursheed Ahmad Shah.
Lead District Manager (LDM) Mohammad Yaqoob welcomed the participants and briefed the house about the achievement of the Banks operating in the District for the quarter ended June 2012 under the Annual Action Plan 2012-2013.
He said, "The District has registered a Credit dispensation of Rs 56.84 Crores out of which priority sector has received Rs 29.44 Crores while as Non- Priority Sector has received Rs 27.40 Crores. The Agriculture sector received a credit of Rs. 5.73 Crores; MSME sector received a credit of Rs. 14.02 Crores and Micro sector Rs. 1.74 Crores."
In accordance with the envisaged National Project of Kissan Credit Cards, the District has dispensed an amount of Rs 5.08 Crores in the first Quarter.
The Chairman (DLRC) emphasized that the revised target of Rs 237.87 Crores fixed for the FY 2012-13 shall also be achieved so that more and more beneficiaries are benefitted particularly weaker sections of the society.
He said, "There is a need to achieve the targets fixed for Kissan Credit Cards so that the farmers in the district are provided with this facility to boost the agriculture sector."
Other present in the meeting included Additional DC Mohd. Akbar Ganai, JD Planning /CPO Farooq Ahmad Yaswi, RBI Representative Ved Prakash and the Bank's Cluster Head Abdul Hamid Khan.
