J&K Bank conducts DLRC meeting in Baramulla
As Lead Bank in Baramulla, J&K Bank convened District Level Review Committee meeting of the district at Meeting Hall of Dak Bungalow Baramulla to review achievements under Annual District Credit Plan 2012-13.
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla chaired the meeting that was attended by all the banks operating in the district besides all line departments.
Briefing the house, Lead Bank Officer Baramulla stated under priority sector lending the district has recorded an achievement of 82.67% with disbursement of Rs.454.79 cr against the target of Rs.550.12 cr, covering 32364 beneficiaries
Out of these Rs.454.79 cr, Rs 320.39 cr were disbursed to agriculture sector, Rs 103.68 cr to Small Enterprises and Service Sector got Rs 30.72 cr.
The house was informed that under Priority Sector lending the District has achieved a growth of 14.13% on basis, while as Weaker Section Advances has recorded YoY growth of 39.05%.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DLRC advised all the banks and the sponsoring agencies functioning in the district to work with cooperation and in coordination to achieve the goals and targets of development, progress & eradication of unemployment.
He further emphasized upon various Agencies of the district to conduct awareness programmes at Village levels to create proper awareness among the people.
