J&K Bank conducts awareness camps in Anantnag
J&K Bank Financial Literacy and Credit Counseling (FLCC) Centre Anantnag conducted six awareness camps in Brah Shangus, Khudwani, Akad Seer Hamdan, Lower Munda, Kanelwan and Vailoo for the effective implementation of District Credit Plan 2012-13.
The facilitator FLCC G R Kumar briefed the people about the importance of FLCC centers at the camps.
Giving a detailed account of Bank's various products and services he urged the participants to decide themselves about the investments.
He appealed the public to make saving a habit and not fall prey to unregistered cooperative and investment companies.
Lead District Manager Anantnag Ghulam Mohammad Mufti advised the people to avail the benefits of the schemes tailored for their economic welfare and development.
He stressed upon the concerned departments to process the genuine cases and make the credit action plan a success for the district.
The camps were organized by the concerned government departments under the instructions of DDC Anantnag and were attended by the government employees, Panchs, Sarpanches and other block level functionaries.
