J&K Bank condoles sad demise of its two officers

J&K Bank today condoled the sad demise of two of its officers namely Sudhir Kashkari, who was Assistant Vice President posted at Mumbai and Mir Sameer – who was an Associate Executive posted at Business Unit Duderhama in Ganderbal. Sudhir Kashkari was diagnosed with a life threatening ailment and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai where he breathed his last yesterday, while as Mir Sameer died suddenly on Tuesday evening.

On behalf of the J&K Bank family, the bank’s President HRD Mohammad Maqbool Lone expressed profound condolences on the demise of both these officers besides solidarity with the bereaved families.

“We feel deeply saddened to know about the demise of our colleague Sudhir Kashkari (AVP), who had battled the life threatening ailment with fortitude and grace. He was a capable officer and a disciplined executive who distinguished himself through his diligence and good demeanour. We are equally pained to learn about the untimely death of our very young colleague Mir Sameer (AE), who was as good a human being as an excellent human resource. We pray to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved families to bear the loss. Though the void created by their departure cannot be filled but we, as a bank, shall fulfil all the requisite obligations towards their surviving families on a priority basis”, said the President adding that all the members of the J&K Bank Family stand by the bereaved families of both the departed officers.

Expressing satisfaction over the spirit of voluntarism displayed by bank staff in Mumbai, Mohammad Maqbool Lone said, “In case of Sudhir Kashkari, the members of the staff posted at Mumbai have exhibited exemplary spirit of caring and kinship by standing firmly by their ailing colleague and his family till last.”

“Even many of our employees voluntarily made blood donations for the suffering colleague. In this kind of adversity, demonstration of such humane values by these colleagues is so heart-warming that we take pride in being part of this caring J&K Bank Family”, he added.
