J&K Bank concludes training programme for women

 J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Pulwama concluded an entrepreneurship development programme for women on Food Processing and Crewel Embroidery.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Liaq Parvaiz was the Chief Guest at the valedictory session, weherein 74 female trainees, coming from poor families across Pulwama district, received their ‘Certificate of Participation’.


Director RSETI Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, LDM Pulwama M Syed Shah and Incharge FLCC Pulwama M. Shafi Parry along with ATO Handicrafts Rifat Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
Speaking after the certificate distribution among the entrepreneurs, ADDC Parvaiz said, “Entrepreneurship is the best response to the growing unemployment in the state. J&K Bank is doing a wonderful job by empowering weaker sections of the society through such training programmes so as to enable them live a life of dignity and success.”


The guests also visited the batch of fifty women engaged in Dress Designing programme. ADC interacted with all trainees and asked them to strive for best future.


Director RSETI Mohammad Maqbool Bhat thanked the guests and trainees for their participation and advised the trainees to start their units as soon as possible.


“Whatever help is needed in this regard that will be provided to you through counseling and consultation”, he said.
