J&K Bank opened a fully computerized Business Unit (BU) at Shankerpora in district Anantnag, taking the total count of bank's business units to 822, besides commissioning an ATM Hub, housing two teller machines, in Qazigund.

The bank’s Zonal Head (South), Mohammad Maqbool Lone inaugurated both Business Unit and Automated Teller Machine in presence of Vice-Presidents Tasaduq Ahmad Dar, Manzoor Ahmad Attar besides a good gathering of valuable customers and local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, “J&K Bank is the state’s most trusted institution, which offers a wide range of tailored products and services to its valuable customers and people at large.”

Dedicating the BU to the people of Shankerpora Zonal Head added "we have come to serve you at your doorsteps to ensure that you avail the best financial products and latest banking facilities".

The people from the area appreciated the efforts of the Bank saying that opening of branch by the Bank will ease their hardships.

Meanwhile, the ATM Hub in Qazigund is expected to decrease the footfall at business units besides adding to the convenience of the people in the area. With this hub, the number of ATMs in South Zone has reached 133.
