Committed to expand its network to ensure higher levels of customer convenience, J&K Bank today inaugurated an ATM at Billawar in district Kathua. O.P Sharma, President & Zonal Head Jammu Central inaugurated the machine amid huge gathering of customers. Among others present on the occasion included Suresh Kotwal, Cluster Head, B.L Sharma, head b/u Billawar, senior bank officials, representatives of Citizens Forum and Vayapar Mandal.
In his address, Sharma assured the people of Bank's continued support. "We are committed to extend technology driven services, interest subvention scheme in agriculture KCC & GCC and other employment generating schemes to our people. But in doing so, we need you to continue to cooperate with us", he said.
"We reiterate our commitment to take the state towards a better tomorrow by devising financial solutions that are in line with the peoples' capacities and economic potential of the state", Sharma emphasized.
Sharma also handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lac to a widow of the MetLife beneficiary on the occasion.
Later, Sharma chaired a customer meet in which various issues concerning local traders and other business communities were discussed and addressed.
