J&K Bank awarded Best Pvt. Sector Bank
J&K Bank has been declared best private sector bank for the year 2009-10 by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the world's leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight. In this context the bank has been presented an award for providing banking facilities in rural areas in J&K state.
Former Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India, M Damodaran, who was chief guest on the occasion, and President & CEO – India Dun and Bradstreet, Kaushal Sampat, presented the award at a glittering function held at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai. On behalf of the bank, the award was received by its President & Secretary Parvez Ahmad.
