J&K Bank Academy wins 2nd match of Rajiv Gandhi Football tourney
J&K Bank Academy today won its second consecutive match of the ongoing 2nd Rajiv Gandhi Football tournament by 2-0 with Param Football Club at GGM Science College, Jammu.
Aiman Rashid scored opener for the Bank in the 25th minute to give his side 1-0 lead at half-time. In the 52nd minute 16-year old Adnan Ayoub doubled the lead and the losers were not able to penetrate through the strong defenses of the Bank team.
Maintaining its good performance in the tournament, the team will play its third match against Churchill Brothers Jammu on Tuesday.
The tournament organized by State Youth Congress, in which twenty two teams are participating is being played under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association.
