Jamia Hamdard University gets J&K Bank extension counter & ATM

Aiming to provide state-of-the-art banking services to the staff and students of Jamia Hamdard, J&K Bank inaugurated its Extension Counter-cum-ATM at the University Campus in Delhi.

Vice Chancellor Hamdard University Dr G N Qazi inaugurated the high-tech facility in presence of the bank’s Executive President Parvez Ahmad at a simple but impressive function. The bank’s Zonal Head Delhi (North) Rakesh Gandotra, Vice President Rajni Saraf, Registrar Jamia Hamdard Dr. Firdous Ahmed Wani, CFO Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, faculty members, staff and students of the university also attended the function.

Vice Chancellor Jamia Hamdard appreciated the Bank’s vision and thanked the management for providing the counter with state-of-the-art banking facilities to the university.
He expressed hope that the bank would engage with the university in its PPP projects in near future and take the institutional relationship to next level.

Paying glorious tributes to the vision of its founders, Parvez Ahmad said, “Jamia Hamdard has become one of the exemplary universities in the country for which its founders deserve our highest regard and respect. Great institutions begin with vision and have remarkable journeys as their best legacy.”

“Same is the case with our bank which rides high on its more-than-seven-decades legacy of service and trust. Our philosophy is to transcend the conventional boundaries and play a proactive role in the development of society through prompt and need-based financial interventions”, he said.

“We continue to engage with the premiere educational institutions within and outside state because we believe that education has the highest potential of job and wealth creation in the country which translates further into sustainable development of all sections of the society”, he added.
