J & K Bank receives facilitation trophy
Srinagar, March 4: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah gave a felicitation trophy - “Good Performance in Phase-I implementation of UMEED in Block-Chenani”- to the J&K Bank. The bank was felicitated for its tremendous financial support to UMEED programme in block Chenani during a programme organized to distribute cheques to the beneficiaries of UMEED at Bhagpur (Jagano) in Udhampur district.
Cluster Head of the bank, S. Iqbal Singh, received the trophy on behalf of J & K bank. It is pertinent to mention that Jagano branch of J & K bank had opened 65 SHG accounts & 10 accounts of Organization Group under this flagship programme. On the occasion 6 cheques were also distributed by the Chief Minister.
