J & K Bank opens one more Financial Services Centre
As announced earlier, the J & K Bank today opened one more Financial Services Centre at Kathua. The Hon'ble Member of Parliament Choudhary Lal Singh inaugurated the Services Centre. The Distt. Development Commissioner Mr. Sanjeev Verma, was also present on the occasion. Welcoming the dignitaries, Mr. Madan Gupta, Vice President of the Bank said that the bank in fulfilling its commitment of convenience, easy reach and reliability to the people of J & K undertook the initiative of opening nine financial service outlets symbolizing nine Navratras on the auspicious occasion of Ramnavmi on 27th of September. This was last such service outlet opened here today which would provide under one roof the financial services of Demat accounts, stock trading, portfolio services, Life and Non life Insurance services, mutual funds and wealth management. He also dwelt at length on the other products and services provided by the bank which are tailor made to suit every individual. He proposed to the District authorities for identification for adoption by the bank any village or area for making available to the people the services of the bank to ameliorate their lot.
Choudhary Lal Singh expressed immense happiness and a deep sense of gratitude to the management of J & K bank for having opened this centre in his constituency and urged the people of Kathua to make the best use of the services offered by the bank so that prosperity and progress comes to his people. He was all praise for the vision and planning of Dr. Haseeb Drabu, Chairman CEO of the bank for putting in place a system under which the bank has shown stupendous growth in the recent years and earned an image of one of the best run banks in the country.
Appreciating the initiative of the bank, District Development Commissioner Kathua Mr. Sanjeev Verma lauded the efforts of the bank and said that opening of a Depository and related services centre at Kathua is a reflection of the huge potential that the District offers. He said that the bank should further contribute towards the developmental activities in the area, which ultimately would lead to the economic development of the state and that of the country. Kathua SSP Mr. Garib Dass also spoke on the occasion and shared his views on the capital market operations.
