J & K Bank Opens ATM at PCR, Jammu
On the auspicious occasion of Ramnavmi, J & K Bank today dedicated one more ATM to the people of Jammu.
Mr. Ashok Gupta, IGP, Jammu inaugurated the ATM at Police Control Room, Jammu in presence of Mr. Ashok Mehta, Executive Director & COO J&K bank. Speaking on the occasion, the IGP, Jammu, Mr. Gupta said that this centrally located ATM would be a great convenience to the police personnel who have to work at odd hours.
He appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Bank in enhancing the bank's reach and reliability among the masses. He was all praise for the social and civic drives of the bank and offered joint participation for such enadeavours in the larger interest of the public.
Mr. Mehta informed the gathering that the glorious history of the bank and its present position is the outcome of immense public patronage, staff dedication and management's vision to provide the people of state with best financial products and banking services.
He further said that the bank has an efficient and responsive public grievances redressal system to improve upon the services standards.
The bank is, Mr Mehta added, diligently and commitedly following the Financial Inclusion Plan of Govt. of India/RBI and taking the benefits of technology to the unbanked and hitherto ignored sections of the society.
Earlier, Mr Madan Gupta, Vice President, Jammu Central Zone, welcoming the guests said that the bank would strive hard to put in place the most advanced technology supported by personalized service to stay competitive in the market.
He said that the bank is reciprocating the round the clock services of the police personnel through round the clock state of the art ATM at their doorstep.
The function was attended by senior citizens, businessmen, retired police officers, in-service police personnel of the area and the general public. Mr. Adarsh Gupta, Business Cluster Head I, presented the vote of thanks.
