Department of Business and Financial Studies (DBFS), University of Kashmir today felicitated Executive President, J&K Bank, Tafazal Hussain for his "contributions in building the industry-institute partnership through various programs."
Vice chancellor, KU, Prof. Talat Ahmad presented a certificate of honour to Hussain on the valedictory function of 3-day national conference on 'Contemporary Issues in Business, Management & Finance' at Kashmir University today.
Career profile of the executive president was read by Prof Nazir Ahmad Nazir head DOBFS, KU before the certificate was presented.
Thanking the varsity for the honour bestowed on him, Hussain on the occasion said it has been a wonderful experience interacting with the students during various programs conducted by the department.
"I appreciate the efforts of the placement cell of the department in bridging the gap between the industry and the institute," he said.
Tafazal hailed VC Kashmir University Prof Talat and Head Department of Business and Financial Studies, Prof Nazir A Nazir for "their efforts to bring industry and academia together."
