Elevations & portfolios reshuffle in J&K Bank
Besides a major reshuffle of portfolios at its helm, J&K Bank today promoted 4 of its Vice-presidents to the posts of President.
Those elevated as Presidents are Abdul Rashid, Mohammad Syed Wani, Surender Krishan Bhat and Nayeemullah. For the first time, the Bank has divided the credit portfolio into state-specific and out-side state.
Nayeemullah, elevated as President, has been assigned an exclusive job of Advances and Asset Planning (A&AP) within the state.
Congratulating the promoted officers of the Bank, Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad said, "The credit portfolio has been divided in order to sharpen our focus on the J&K economy and have efficient credit dispensation within the state. And we hope these promotions and the consequent reshuffle will synergize our efforts to move ahead with confidence and sense of achievement towards our organizational goals."
We hope that the promoted officers will work with the spirit of team building and shall come up to the expectations of the organisation and state government which is the main stake-holder, he added.
Meanwhile, Personnel & Human Resource Development (P&HRD) and Risk Management were given to President Abdul Rauf Bhat while as Surender Krishan Bhat got Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) and Government Business.
Abdul Rashid will look after the Financial Inclusion/Lead Bank/ JK Grameen Bank/CSC and UID project and Mohammad Syed Wani has been assigned portfolio of Business Support Division. Portfolio of R K Shah includes Technology & Information System / Law/Compliance.
