Chairman J&K Bank delivers lecture at Al-Ameen College, Bangalore
Conscious of its role and responsibility towards underprivileged sections of society, J&K Bank continues to pursue its mission of empowerment in a broader sense that accommodates the imperatives of both equity and development. It is here, the bank plans to focus on its Micro-Finance programme and run it quite parallel to its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
This was stated by J&K Bank Chairman & CEO Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad while he paid a visit to Al-Ameen College Campus Bangalore yesterday. Tafazal Hussain, President of the Bank and Mohammad Amin, Zonal Head Bangalore also accompanied the chairman during his visit to the campus.
He was welcomed at the campus by the Founder Chairman Al-Ameen Educational Society (EAS) Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad Khan and Vice-Chairman R Roshan Beigh along with officials of the Society and Principals of various colleges.
After a thorough exchange of views with the Society officials and others, the Chairman gave a brief historical overview of the bank and said, "J&K Bank is a profitable and growing organization. The bank is remarkably doing well in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi etc."
He also informed the audience about there were 13 business units currently working in the Bangalore zone and announced the establishment of 3 more Business Units in the near future.
Other members of the society, who were present on the occasion were Shekh Dawood Aezazi , Subhan Sherif, Y Aziz Ahmad, Maqbool Ahmad, Zaheer-u-din, Ahmad Sherif Siraj.
