Going ahead with its determined resolution of providing easy and accessible banking facilities to people of the state, J&K Bank today dedicated three more Automated Teller Machines (ATM)s for the public service.
On the auspicious occasion of Navratra, Executive President, J&K Bank Mr. Ajit Singh inaugurated the ATM at Bagh-i-Bahu, Jammu amid a gathering of senior citizens, valuable customers and other local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Singh said, "By providing these state-of-the-art banking facilities, we are trying to make our services more accessible and easy for our clients in particular and people in general." He said, "Now not only our customers but even the card holders of other banks can avail the banking services from these teller-outlets anytime and anywhere. People, no more, need to visit our branches for cash or balance statements". While listing benefits of the JK Bank Global Access Card, he, at the same time, asked the cardholders to take utmost care of their cards. "To ensure safety of the Global access Card, cardholder should keep the PIN confined to himself only and should avoid sharing the details of the card with others," he said.
Rapid expansion in the domain of technology-driven services is quite an indicator of the Bank's attitude that seeks to put customer-convenience at the centre of its operational policy, he added.
Meanwhile, the other two ATMs were inaugurated at Narabal & Fruit complex, Srinagar by Zonal Head Kashmir (Central) Mr. Abdul Hamid Banday. Both the inaugurations also witnessed presence of valuable clients, senior citizens and the local residents. During the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Banday also reiterated the bank's policy of providing hassle-free and world-class banking services to the people of state.
