With a view to maximize its reach to general public, J&K Bank today inaugurated 588th Business unit at Bagat Kanipora, in Budgam.
Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central), Abdul Hamid Banday inaugurated the Unit at a simple but impressive function amid good gathering of people.
The Business Unit is equipped with state-of-art technology and latest banking solutions like core banking, anywhere banking, e-banking etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said, "J&K Bank is very keen to extend banking facilities to people of the state right at their door steps. Various measures are being relentlessly pursued to upgrade working conditions and to devise schemes that specifically match different aspirations of people."
J&K Bank, he said, is the institution completely devoted to the economic uplift of general public of the state.
Today's function was part of this process. He thanked people for their full support to the bank, which is consistently scaling new heights in all its essential operational standards.
He also informed the gathering about the bank's plan to open more Business Units in different areas of Zone that shall qualitatively lead to customer convenience.
People of the area hailed opening of the Business Unit and assured their full support for successful functioning of the unit.
